As a fan of the show, I'm not surprised by the slight declines in Season 10. After all, it was a hard year for the show that had to primarily focus on Gene and Linda. The writers' decision to balance out the show with more horror-themed episodes (like "Worms of In-Rear-Ment" and "Mommy Boy") is understandable but just not very smart. Hopefully season 11 will be more consistent and up to standards, as usual.

This season of the show was a bit of a let down. The best episodes were "Worms of In-Rear-Ment, Mommy Boy, and Butters' Very Own Episode. The rest mostly felt forced and were painfully unfunny.

The final season of the 10th season brought a lot of new developments in the show. Gene is finally the master of his own universe and the writers could have scored points with the viewership. The amount of memorable episodes was less than previous seasons and the character focus widened to include several other characters, though arguably Gene and Linda were still the main targets. Season 11 continues these development, adding both new and established characters to the long list; but what wasn't so great is that a lot of episodes consists a lot cringe-worthy memetic moments that will leave most people dumbfounded after laughing at them in retrospect (from "Worms of Ink-Ruler", "Mommy Boy" & "Cape Feare").

For the 10th season, "Gene & Linda" was nominally a show about adults. A TV network put it on a better stage than it had previously been on; more adults could relate to a love triangle between Gene, Linda and Thomas in a post-Season 9 world. For Season 11 (which aired the same time as the COVID-19 pandemic), the focus on Gene and Linda was lessened. In addition to this decline in focus, several episodes received heavy criticism for poor writing, forced toilet humor, and generally mediocre storytelling. Certainly the drought of new episodes lasted throughout this season; compared with earlier seasons where every episode spawned at least one good episode (some had two), Season 11's dry spell produced only a few good episodes.

Season 11 changed gears a bit and somewhat regressed in quality. There was a significant amount of recycled footage as well as many poorly written/acted/timed episodes  (with the most notable being: "A Family Obligation Part 3 to 6" "A Family Obligation Part II"). Also, this season saw an unprecedented failure for the writers in that they turned down the chance to have Linda imitate Gene (a favorite joke among the hardcore fans)  despite Linda having the skill to do so at Paul's request  and due to Linda's femininity, keeping her out of the spotlight as much as possible. One source of improvement garnered some criticism, however; when asked about Season 11, writer Jim Dauterive answered "I don't think we could have done a better job."

Fans of the show were not pleased with Season 10, citing it as boring and not focusing on characters like Gene or Linda. However, those same fans praised season 11 for its great cast, addictiveness and remarkable diversity.

Roughly 65% of viewers voted Season 11 the worst season. In the past, Simpson fans had a more positive opinion of Seasons. ___________________________________________________________

Season 11 of South Park did occasionally have some very funny episodes, but generally seems to be more of a continuation of Season 10's decline than it is an improvement.

As fans settle in to Season 11, they'll discover a schedule much like that of any other season: it's 41 episodes, beginning this summer! Produced by the same team who have been taking us out to dinner since 1998, your favorite 27 chefs return to the Bistro in this summer of entertaining. (The "dinner" joke references the previous season's premiere and ending titles/cards.)

In the 11th season of PSYCH, Jadie, Lizzie and her brother, Tim are each looking to make amends with their parents. Meanwhile, Juliet's mother has ALS, Richard's mother reveals she faces a terminal illness and St. George is looking to make a confession. While PSYCH Season 11 may not have been all in your face as frantically paced as PSYCH Season 10 was, it did recall one overarching theme that runs throughout the show: the desire for families to be strong and intact no matter what obstacles may get in their way.

Some fans are surprised to learn the subtle art of egg poaching. Unlike sunny-side-up eggs, which turn over at the edges, poached eggs have an even cook to the center. Cook your eggs in a slanted bowl set immediately over a simmering pot of water: Bring water to a boil and lower the heat, creating a gentle simmer. Crack two raw eggs into the slanted bowl and pour enough hot water over them that they float in the water. After 15 seconds, remove the lid and carefully shake them upside down; they should be cooked through with no white showing at the spot where yolk is joined to white.
